The Volvo (DAF) 66GLS Bought in march '77. Parked in front of our house back then. Allways driven with a lot of fun. It has been to Italy a few times. It was tuned by HI-TUNED in Haarlem, and man did it move. Sold in November '79, and today I wish I could buy it back

How strange, I just now notice, that in the back ground stands an Opel Manta.
Is this just a coincedence???		 MORE SOON! I am typing as you read this.

After the first changes were made, the manta was driven with plesure. At some time in August '83 the Maestro was invited to have some fun at the race track in Zantvoort. The Manta did oke. but for some real speed, MORE POWER! was needed. The Maestro came in contact with Moritz Tuning. This was the start of a long term relation. John Moritz the owner of this outfit gave some advise as to, how to continue. The next step was to, install an 2.5" exhaust system. what a sound!! Late in the evening when this was done, it turned out that we needed bigger carbs as well. The current carb just did not bring enough fuel with this exhaust system. Manyfolds were ordered and webers were found. The change was there, from a nimble mover it became a sports car, but we were a long way from being done.Read on 		Zantvoort winter '83 -'84
